We stand amazed at what God is doing in our lives at the moment! We are so blessed to be a part of His work.
At the beginning of June, we went to our daughter’s church, Australia for Christ Fellowship in Rowville. Ps Luis and Alexandra Cabral warmly welcomed us and we were able to share with the church about the work in Thailand. This church, along with Snowy Monaro Assembly in Cooma, was the first church to partner with us last year. We are so blessed to have such people of God partnering with us.
The week-end before last, we were invited to speak at the Seymour Central Christian Church and were so encouraged by the warm reception we were given and feel blessed that they want to partner with us on the journey to Thailand. Ps. Peter and Anne welcomed us into their home for lunch and then we were part of a community radio program that Ps. Peter and Ted do every Sunday afternoon in Seymour. What a commitment – Ps Peter has done his two hour program every Sunday with his team for the last 2 ½ years. It is a great outreach tool into the community and it was very interesting to see how it all worked and came together. May God continue to bless it in every way.
Last week-end we attended ACC’s regional meeting at Encounter Church in Shepparton. Again we were blown away by the message from Ps. Tim and Jackie Hall. We need to keep holding onto the vision that God has given us and trust that God ‘will complete the work He has started in us’. It was an amazing time of praise and worship – something that I will miss greatly when we are overseas.
We had a table set up at the meeting so that we could hand out our folders and talk to people. One thing that has impacted me greatly – more so than many other things – was a lady came up to me after the meeting and emptied her purse into my hand and said it was for the work we are going to do in Thailand. This lady told me she was looking for work and seemed to be struggling financially yet she gave all that she had for missionary work. Lord, I pray, make us like this lady – that we be willing to give all for you. I pray the Lord will bless her in every way for what she has given. Time and again, we are so amazed by what God is doing.
We just want to thank everybody that has come on board on this journey with us in the last few weeks. We are privileged to have you as partners – bless you. We now have unofficially, over sixty percent of our sponsorship raised and we are continuing to believe that we will be in Thailand by the end of this month. We want to start our work in Thailand by attending the Pan Asia conference at the beginning of August. This conference offers valuable teaching for our work ahead. We are also able to meet up with field workers who are in Thailand and Asia so we can learn from them. Jehovah Jirah is our provider and in Him we trust.
This Sunday we are looking forward to being a part of Generations church with Ps Ron Melon in Tatura – we have a chance to speak at the two morning services and are greatly looking forward to it. The following Sunday we will be speaking at Encounter Church in Shepparton, so exciting to see what God is doing.
Once again, thank-you for all yours prayers, support and faithfulness, may God richly bless you in every way, blessings, Wolfgang and Dianne
